Terms
Private-beta terms
These draft terms explain the boundaries of the controlled Tracework beta. Verified operator identity and jurisdiction will be added before invitations are sent.
Private-beta draft · Last reviewed July 25, 2026
Beta purpose
Tracework is an educational product for practicing SOC investigation workflows. Beta access is limited, may change without notice, and may be paused to protect learners or the service.
No professional reliance
Tracework does not provide employment placement, certification, legal advice, or a live security operations service. Simulated findings and grades must not be used as the sole basis for a real security, employment, legal, or safety decision.
Acceptable use
- Use only your own beta account and keep its password private.
- Do not submit real credentials, confidential employer information, malware, or live incident evidence.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access, automated abuse, availability disruption, or testing against systems outside Tracework.
- Report suspected security issues through the published security contact before sharing details publicly.
Accounts and availability
Access may be revoked for abuse, material risk, or beta closure. Tracework will make reasonable efforts to preserve progress, but beta availability and stored progress are not guaranteed.
Changes and operator details
These terms will be reviewed before the first invitation. The legal operator name, business jurisdiction, and contact details are not yet published; invitations remain blocked until they are complete.
Contact
Contact details will be published before private-beta invitations are sent.
